North Hill offers training session for dogs, owners April 28

The "Patterson Park Pack" of North Akron will host a dog and people training seminar this weekend at the park on Keeney Street.

 

The April 21 seminar starts at 4 p.m. and features Mike Shaft from Dog Chore Co., who has 26 years experience as a dog training specialist.

 

Cost is $10. Dog owners are encouraged to bring one dog per person, a choke collar or training collar, a leash (16 feet or longer; retractable leash is preferred), note pad and pen, small doggy treats.

 

The event also will feature the Stray Dog Street Food wagon.
