True Digital Communications founder to speak
— On Thursday, Jan. 19, the Akron Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) monthly luncheon will feature Chris Baldwin, founder and principal of True Digital Communications.
Entitled “Influencer Marketing Insights,” Baldwin will address the topic of effective influencer marketing in the age of social media. The meeting will take place at Tangier, 532 W. Market St.
Baldwin has over 20 years of experience in public relations, marketing and sales and has seen the evolution of digital marketing from a trend to an entire industry. The insightful and the entertaining will intersect when Baldwin shares his knowledge of how to mine social media channels to determine the best ones for your online message and how it will be shared by others.
He will also share the benefit of his expertise in traditional PR’s role in influence marketing and how earned, owned and paid content all contribute.
Influencer Marketing Insights begins with networking at 11:30 a.m., lunch buffet and program at noon, concluding at approximately 1 p.m. Cost is $25 for PRSA members, $20 for Early Bird reservations before Jan. 12, $30 for nonmembers and $15 for students.
