Bounce Innovation Hub will host an open house on Friday, April 13, from 5 to 8 p.m., to celebrate its official launch. The event is free and open to the public. Bounce is located at 526 S. Main St., Akron, in the former Akron Global Business Accelerator building.
The event will kick off at 5:30 in the Bit Factory, located on the fifth floor, with a welcome and introduction of the new Bounce CEO, Douglas Weintraub, by Akron Mayor Dan Horrigan.
Attendees will then have the chance to explore and see what is inside Bounce during a self-guided tour throughout the building. Bounce’s companies will open their doors, encouraging guests to stop by and enjoy a progressive dinner featuring local food on each floor. The event will also include free, virtual reality experiences provided by New Territory VR Arcade; live music; local artists; a cash bar; and networking.
