In response to the currently running “FRONT International: Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art,” The University of Akron’s Emily Davis Gallery (part of the Myers School of Art) presents the exhibit, “a House is not a Home,” which runs through Sept, 28 and features six regional artists who explore the idea of “home” – whether physical space, representative objects, personal stories or fantastical narratives.The show features artists Amy L Casey and Kristen Cliffel from Cleveland; and Ron Copeland, Vanessa German, Ryder Henry and Ed Panar, from Pittsburgh.The Emily Davis Gallery is located at 150 E. Exchange St., in the Myers School of Art. An exhibit reception takes place Sept. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m.
