Jeremy Lile was recently named executive director of Heart to Heart Communications, which offers leadership development programs.
Heart to Heart Communications recently changed two positions. First, Jeremy Lile, director of operations, has been named the organization’s executive director. He will assume the responsibility for running the day-to-day operations and achieving its strategic goals.
“Jeremy has shown that he has the passion – the heart – for our mission,” said George DeBord, chairman of the Heart to Heart board of directors, “We feel fortunate that he will take the helm and grow this organization, because our work is so important to our community.”
About Jeremy’s new role, Father Norm Douglas said, “I think Jeremy is an excellent choice. He understands what Larry and I envisioned when we started Heart to Heart and I believe he’ll take it to the next level.”
Heart to Heart co-founder, Larry Vuillemin, has assumed the role of director of Community Impact and will work closely with Jeremy to advance the mission of the organization, including fundraising and providing training programs.
“This is a more traditional role than I’ve played in recent years,” said Vuillemin. “But, as I said at our 2016 annual breakfast, I am more committed to Heart to Heart than ever before, and I’m looking forward to working side-by-side with Jeremy, Sarah, our board, facilitators and volunteers to fulfill our mission.”
Lyle is a graduate of Taylor University in Upland, Ind., and earned a master’s degree in Divinity from Ashland Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Christy, live in Akron with their four children.
