Catch the holiday spirit with a visit to fully decorated Hower House Museum!
A true annual tradition, this 1871 Victorian mansion has its 28 rooms decked out in grand style for the season which began early November and continues through December 30. A dedicated corps of volunteers has offered their own unique interpretations of this year’s theme: Holidays Around the World, which highlights the significant and particular traditions observed in various international celebrations.
A variety of live musical entertainment will be offered on select Saturdays and Sundays throughout the holiday season. As is the custom at Hower House Museum, complimentary wassail and cookies will be available for visitors as they shop in the Cellar Door Store which will also be open during tour times. Self-guided tours for the entire holiday season. Visitors will be able to view the rooms at their own pace to enjoy this fine tradition on Fir Hill.
DATES FOR HOLIDAY TOURS:
Self-guided tours Wednesday through Sunday from now until Friday, December 30.: Wed.-Sat. Noon – 3:00 pm, Sundays 1– 3:30 pm (Holiday closings–Nov. 24, Dec. 24–25, 31) Last tour begins one half-hour before closing.
ADMISSION: $8 adults, $6 seniors (65), $2 students of all ages, children 12 and under admitted free with an adult admission. Large group tours by prior confirmed appointment only. Please call for availability.
