The Community Pride Trailer is perfect for groups with bigger projects in mind, like sprucing up your community garden in preparation for summer or planting one for the first time. This 25-foot box trailer contains landscaping tools and cleanup supplies to aid volunteer groups in transforming lots into beautiful spaces.
The Litter and Illegal Dump Cleanup Trailer is a smaller trailer, fully equipped with tools and all the necessary equipment for a successful large community or neighborhood litter cleanup or illegal dumping eradication event.
New this season, thanks to an Ohio EPA Litter Management Grant, KAB was able to add water cleanup supplies to its inventory. This equipment includes waders, surface skimming rakes, telescopic rakes and life vests. These new items are available to use upon request.
Reservations may be made by visiting www.keepakronbeautiful.org. Citizens may complete the application form and view the requirements, safety commitments and equipment list for the program online. Both trailers already have projects planned for Clean Up Akron Month Projects in April, so residents are encouraged to check scheduling availability online.
