Mini Maker Faire Returns to Main Library Sept. 19
Call for Makers open July 10 through Aug. 22
The 2015 Akron Mini Maker Faire is Saturday, Sept. 19, noon to 4 p..m. at Main Library in Downtown Akron. The Akron Mini Maker Faire is a free, family-friendly event to make, create, invent, learn, craft, recycle, think and play, presented by the Akron-Summit County Public Library and Maker Media.
Creative types interested in exhibiting may apply online at www.makerfaireakron.com from July 10 to Aug. 22. 3D printing enthusiasts, woodworkers, classic car restorers, tinkerers, hackers and more are encouraged to fill out an application. School groups and local clubs as well as individual projects can submit an application.
