Lifesource Yoga will host several events celebrating National Yoga Month throughout September, starting with a raga concert of classical Indian music and ending with participation in the Akron Yoga Summit at the end of the month.
Kicking off the month-long celebration will be a concert of classical Indian music featuring Joe Culley and Hans Utter, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. Various workshops and an open house will also take place throughout the month. The celebrations will conclude with Lifesource Yoga’s participation in the Akron Yoga Summit Sept. 22 through 25. Studio owner Diane Boenker says, “We’re all thrilled to offer this month long series of activities to our students and the entire community. Everyone is welcome to join us any time during this special month.”
This the first year Lifesource Yoga is has launched a series of events to celebrate National Yoga Month, a national observance and awareness campaign held during the month of September to educate about the health benefits of yoga and to inspire a healthy lifestyle.
The awareness campaign consists of yoga classes, concerts and other special events during September to celebrate National Yoga Month and inspire people to practice yoga and to create a more balanced lifestyle.
