Magical Theatre Company, Northeast Ohio’s only professional resident and touring theatre for young audiences and families, wraps up its 2015-2016 Season with “Lyle the Crocodile” now through May 15.
What happens when a friendly crocodile turns up in a house in New York City? Basic hilarity, of course. Everyone loves Lyle – except Mr. Grumps, who can’t stand anyone! All sorts of adventures ensue, with Lyle saving the day.
Directed by Holly Barkdoll, the cast includes Terence Cranendonk, Mark Ross, Gregory Hill, Reagan Zajac, Ali Moss, Cameron Moss and Cosmo A. Moss of Akron, Adam Hoffman, Deb Lemire and Cecelia Brown of Cuyahoga Falls, Ben Johnson and Bob Parenti of Uniontown, Amanda Kidd of Kent and Michael P. Rogan of Highland Heights.a
Public Performances of “Lyle the Crocodile” are Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, May 15, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 and $12 per person. “Lyle” is most enjoyed by families ages 4 and up.
