Chestnut Ridge Park, a recipient of the Akron Park’s Challenge grant in 2018, will host “Many Voices, One Akron: A Celebration of Diversity,” Saturday, Sept. 14, at 1 p.m. The park is located at 1926 19th St. SW .
This is the second event in a series and will feature performers Natalie Martin, Puspa Gajmer and Sara Finan, with Ali Coker as emcee. The event is free and open to the public, although registration is requested by visiting https://www.eventbrite.com/o/friends-of-chestnut-ridge-park-17946943316.
The program is supported by an Akron Community Foundation On the Table Greater Akron Impact Award, the Akron Parks Collaborative and the city of Akron. Friends of Chestnut Ridge Park is dedicated to improving the park and building social cohesion by providing programming that celebrates diversity
