The Ohio Sausage Fest is set for Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m, at 5555 Akron Peninsula Road, in Peninsula. The inaugural event is being put on by Sausage Fest LLC- an organization who seeks to promote the United States rich history of diverse culinary heritage exemplified by regional, ethnic, and craft sausage makers throughout our land.
Attendees will have the opportunity to sample some of the most tasteful blends of sausage meats, links, and patties that are crafted using hormone-free, and pasture-raised meats all over Ohio’s country side. Along with tasting some of our state wide sausages, the attendees will also have the chance to sample sausages from different countries and cultures who take pride in crafting sausage all over the world.
Don’t worry about being thirsty either- there will be a great variety of Northeast Ohio’s award winning microbreweries to help wash down, and even cool off your tranquil taste buds.
The winner of the First Annual Ohio Sausage Fest Best Sausage Award Certificate will be voted on and decided by everyone in attendance throughout the day.
The First Annual Ohio Sausage Fest is sure have great people, great food, and great times. It’s a chance to learn about different cultures, and their culinary heritage while enjoying the world’s most sophisticated and care crafted sausage.
