The vocal vibrancy of the Grammy-winning a cappella ensemble Roomful of Teeth concludes this season of Tuesday Musical’s Fuze series on Tuesday, April 5.
Praised by The New York Times for “making nerdiness cool,” Roomful of Teeth mines the expressive potential of the human voice with world-inspired grooves.
The concert begins at 7 p.m. at the Akron-Summit County Public Library, 60 S. High St., Akron. Parking is free in the adjacent deck. Tickets are $25 for general admission and free for all students. Tickets are on sale in advance at 330-761-3460 or www.tuesdaymusical.org and at the door as long as seats are available. Refreshments and opportunities to mingle with the performers are included.
Fuze is Tuesday Musical’s out-of-the box, up-close and classical concert series presented in small venues throughout the community. The Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation is the presenting sponsor of Fuze this season, with additional support from Dr. Pamela Rupert, the Ohio Arts Council, and the Barbara A. Feld Educational Experience Fund of Akron Community Foundation.
