Rubber City Theatre will downsize its costume stock as part of a sale this weekend, which the nonprofit points out is an ideal opportunity to buy items perfect for theater, cosplay, drag or Halloween costume needs. The sale takes place Saturday, Sept. 29, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 30, noon to 4 p.m. and includes dresses for homecoming and dances, as well as everyday wear.
Prices will range from $1 to $25.
The sale also includes hundreds of pieces, both vintage and modern, from clothing to jewelry and accessories. Rubber City Theatre, The Black Box at Fort Romig, is located at 2207 Romig Road.
All proceeds from the costume sale will support Rubber City Theatre’s Knight Arts Challenge winning Shakesqueer Project, a two-part project to re-imagine Shakespeare’s works to reflect the lives of the LGBTQ+ community.
