The Akron RubberDucks will host a second season of Movie Nights at Canal Park, sponsored by Jo-Ann Fabrics and Craft Stores. The first of two Movie Nights is Sat., June 21 at 8 p.m., featuring the critically-acclaimed Disney film Frozen. The second night of the series is scheduled for 8 p.m. on Sat., July 12, featuring two yet-to-be determined films.
Tickets are $5, with proceeds benefiting Goodwill Industries. Gates will open at 7 p.m., and families will have the opportunity to play and relax in the outfield of Canal Park before the film is screened on the giant 26’ x 68’ HD video board, the largest in double-A baseball, which was newly installed into Canal Park in 2013.
