The Summit County Children Services ‘Clothing Center’ – which provides new and gently worn clothing of all types for needy client families served by the agency – is asking area residents who may be cleaning out closets this time of year to consider donating their unwanted children’s clothes. The Clothing Center presently has a special need for:
- Spring and summer pajamas of all sizes (newborn to teen)
- Spring jackets for girls (sizes newborn to teen)
- Summer teen boy clothing
Donations to The Clothing Center may be brought to the agency’s Community Relations Department Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. After hours, donations may be taken to the front desk of the agency’s Administration Building. Summit County Children Services is located at 264 S. Arlington St., Akron.
