The popular event will take place Sept. 6 in the heart of Highland Square on West Market Street between Portage Path and Casterton Avenue from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with an after-party from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Square Fest is a family-friendly event featuring live local entertainment on three stages, and more than 90 exhibitors, including artists, community organizations and neighborhood businesses. Other features include street performers, a contest for Akron’s best pizza sponsored by the West Akron and North Akron Kiwanis clubs with up to 20 pizza vendors, and a large interactive children’s area including make-and-take crafts.
Admission is free, and street parking will be available nearby or patrons can park at the American Red Cross building (501 W. Market Street) or at Akron First Assembly (1175 W.
