Ohio Mart, scheduled for Oct. 1 through 4, at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, has been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Presented by Stan Hywet’s Auxiliary Board, this would have been the 54th annual year of the fall artisan festival. All components of the weekend have been canceled, with the exception of “Inspiration in Bloom,” which will go on as planned in the Manor House, as part of a self-guided Manor House tour.
The centerpiece of Ohio Mart is an artisan crafts showcase featuring more than 125 artists, working in a variety of media.
“Thank you to the Ohio Mart Committee of the Auxiliary Board, which works tirelessly all year to present this fall artisan craft fair, an Akron tradition and fundraiser for the estate. We look forward to seeing all of our Ohio Mart guests next year, and we hope that everyone will support the exhibitors this year by shopping online at their websites,” said Sean M. Joyce, president and executive director of Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens.
The community may visit www.stanhywet.org/oh-mart-exhibitors to shop with exhibitors normally featured at Ohio Mart. This page features a complete list of exhibitors, their websites and contact information.
Guests who purchased tickets to attend Ohio Mart will be contacted by Stan Hywet and issued a refund.
