Summit County Children Services (SCCS) will host virtual foster care and adoption information meetings Thursday, Sept. 10, and Tuesday, Sept. 29, from 6 to 7 p.m. These events will be held via Zoom.

The virtual meetings will cover a variety of details about foster care and adoption, including how long the process is and what kind of support is provided by the agency. Currently, there are nearly 800 children in agency custody and 170 licensed foster families.
A social services supervisor and a foster care coordinator will be available to share basic information about the children who need foster or adoptive families. These events are open to the entire community, however advance registration is required. Those who register will receive the link for the Zoom meeting.
For info, call the foster home inquiry number at (330) 379-1990 or visit the SCCS website at summitkids.org.
