Akron-Summit County Public Library will present its first Youth Arts Showcase on Saturday, May 6 at 10:30 a.m. at Main Library in downtown Akron. Artists, musicians, singers and dancers in grades 4 through 12 were selected for the event.
The Youth Arts Showcase will kick off with the opening of the Youth Arts Showcase gallery and artist reception at 10:30 a.m. The event will continue at 11:15 a.m. with performances by some of Summit County’s most talented children and teens. Performances include classical piano, solo and duet singers, show choirs, jazz/ballet/ folk dance groups and more.
The Youth Arts Showcase is being billed as “a feast for the eyes and ears” and will feature an array of performances and artwork for the public to enjoy throughout the day.
The event and library parking are free.
