Magical Theatre Company, Northeast Ohio’s professional resident and touring theatre for young audiences and families, takes a trip to the barnyard with “Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type,” through May 9.
The cows on Farmer Brown’s farm have had enough! Underappreciated, they request electric blankets for the drafty barn. And so begins this delightful and hilarious musical about cows, hens and ducks going on strike. A modern classic of children’s literature and also a Caldecott Honor winner.
Director Holly Barkdoll, Musical Director Tim Longfellow and Choreographer Allison Prucha have put together a delightful production that will have you tapping your toes all the way home. Surrounded by a fanciful set designed by Ben Needham, and sporting jolly and creative costumes by Deborah Slinger, the talented cast of actor/singers includes: Adam Hoffman of Stow, Jamie Finkenthal of Solon, Amanda Kidd of Kent, and Deb Lemire and Eric Lualdi of Cuyahoga Falls.
“Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type” runs through May 9 and is most enjoyed by families ages 4 and up. Public Performances of “Click Clack Moo” are Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2 p.m. and Sunday, May 3 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $9 and $11 per person.
