Summit Food Coalition is coordinating an Urban Agriculture tour in the Summit Lake Neighborhood Tuesday, Aug. 8 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. In partnership with Let’s Grow Akron, Ms. Julie’s Kitchen, and Urban Honey Bee, the tour will showcase the vibrant urban agriculture community in the neighborhood.
Tour participants will meet at the Summit Lake Community Center and will hop a ride on the trolley or bicycle to visit area gardens and an apiary, and will return to the Summit Lake Community Center at 6:30 p.m. to enjoy the Summit Lake Neighborhood Farmers’ Market until 7 p.m.
