The Well CDC will serve up craft beer for a good cause for the upcoming “Drink Beer. Do Good.” fundraiser, which takes place Friday, June 15, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the nonprofit’s headquarters, 647 E. Market St.
Attendees will learn about how they may engage in the process of restoring housing, creating economy and supporting place in Akron’s Middlebury neighborhood. R. Shea Brewing, Akronym Brewing and Ohio Brewing Company are slated to participate.
“We are excited to have an opportunity to share the vision of The Well while providing a space that highlights local entrepreneurship,” said Zac Kohl, executive director of the Well.
The cost is $30 per person, which includes a take-home beer flight with four, 4-ounce tastings and appetizers. Designated drivers are welcomed and encouraged to attend for $20, including appetizers.
Full beers also are available for purchase. Tickets can be purchased on Facebook or at www.thewellakron.com.
