Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls is interested in enhancing the environment of the Infusion rooms in their oncology department and are seeking inspiring art from local artists. Artwork will be on an eight- to 10-week rotation in the oncology rooms and then move to the public access community gallery area.
The goal of this project is not only to enhance the environment for the oncology patients by exposing them to the healing nature of art but provides an opportunity for local artists to exhibit their artwork to the community.
Art may be for sale, and the artist will receive the full payment for their sales. Artists may be contacted directly for the sale of their art.
Contact the project curator Jessica Lofthus, [email protected], by July 1 for consideration.
DEADLINE is July 10, with subsequent submission dates every 8 to 10 weeks thereafter. The first installation will be at the end of July.
This community project is a partnership between Western Reserve Hospital, Collide: Cuyahoga Falls and ArtsNow of Summit County.
