The Women’s Endowment Fund of Akron Community Foundation invites local residents and community leaders to save the date for its annual “For Women, Forever” dinner, which will take place Tuesday, March 7, at the Hilton Akron/Fairlawn.
This year’s event will feature Savannah James, founder of the I PROMise Makeover, which empowers underprivileged girls from Akron-area high schools by helping them prepare for prom with dresses, accessories, and most importantly, words of encouragement and self-confidence. During the event, James will share her experience as a businesswoman, philanthropist, wife and mother.
Corporate and individual sponsorship opportunities are available. For more information about becoming a sponsor, contact Debra Shifrin, event co-chair, at 330-762-6474 or [email protected].
“For Women, Forever” celebrates women as philanthropists and benefits the Women’s Endowment Fund of Akron Community Foundation. Tickets to the event will go on sale in January. To receive an invitation, register for the Women’s Endowment Fund’s e-news at www.akroncf.org/WEFnews.
